About Me

This site is about the various things that occupy the scary space that is my mind. It takes its name from a pub in London, England (which is where I’m seated in the accompanying photo, taken by Kevin Argue in 2010). It seemed like a decent place. The pub takes its name from one Joseph Paxton who was a builder of greenhouses in the 19th century. Most notably, he designed the Crystal Palace for the Great Exposition in 1851 in Hyde Park. As far as I know, we’re not related by the face on the pub sign resembles my father. Who knows, anyway I hope you enjoy the blog.
